Lipper, a mutual fund ratings and analysis firm, has ranked Wintergreen the top Global Large-Cap Core Fund for the past three- and five-year periods ending Sept. 30, 2011, it was announced last week.
Wintergreen was tops out of 109 funds in its category over the past three years and No. 1 out of 83 funds over the past five years. Wintergreen also topped a list of 68 funds dating to its inception in 2005.
Over the past year, Wintergreen was No. 14 out of 121 funds.
The fund is a component of the Bradway Strategic Portfolio, which consists primarily of investments with top money managers.
