Oppenheimer Developing Markets Ranks Among Top Funds in Category for Past 5, 10 and 15 Years

The Oppenheimer Developing Markets Fund celebrated its 15th anniversary last month at the head of the pack: It was ranked in the top 1 percent of Morningstar's diversified emerging markets category for the previous five-, 10- and 15-year periods.

Specifically, it was No. 3 of 236 funds for its five-year track record; No. 2 out of 143 for the past 10 years; and No. 2 of 142 for the past 15 years.

The fund has produced a 733 percent cumulative return in the past 15 years, and a 15 percent average annualized return, while the benchmark MSCI Emerging Markets Index produced a cumulative return of 206 percent and an average annualized return of 8 percent.

Oppenheimer Developing Markets is a component of the Bradway Strategic Portfolio, which consists primarily of investments with top money managers.
