During an interview with MSNBC last week, First Eagle Global fund manager Matthew McLennan gave a gloomy outlook on the world economy and how that will play out in the form of low returns for investors over the next decade.
He also explained how the fund's top five holdings, which include gold bullion, Microsoft and Cisco Systems, revolve around a common theme. And he said that owning the right stocks is the key to investment success in what's likely to be a challenging long-term environment for investors.
