Golf Marathon Raises Money for Camp Nerden

Craig held a successful golf marathon in June to raise money for Camp Nerden, a free summer camp for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Craig completed 100 holes at the Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford and, thanks to the generosity of his supporters, raised more than $1,400 for the camp.

Below Craig is walking off the 18th green after sinking the putt on his 100th hole of the day. At right is client Rich Retallack, who was on hand to greet him at the end of the marathon.

Craig became a volunteer at the camp when he was 10 years old and went on to spend 15 summers as a staffer and, eventually, director of outdoor recreation. He later served on the camp's board of directors.
